Has anyone modified a Widden V-Block made for the staggerfeed mags to work with a centerfeed gun? It looks like the Whidden V-Blocks are not made for the centerfeed guns--unless I'm wrong about that. I'm not sure if I'd just have to mill out the magazine hole on the V-Block to work with the centerfeed blind mag or what I'd need to do to fit it. Anyone using this block in their savage centerfeed?

I'd like to know too. John's shop is south of me near Valdosta and I've been considering trying his V block set up on my short action center feed 223.
Screw spacing is different. You would wind up with a slot instead of a hole. I built mine, I talked to John about making them a production item and it's not high on the priority list.
I originally wanted to have it long enough to go to the trigger guard screw and past the front of the recoil lug. But the piece of AL I had on hand worked. Next one I build will be full length and have the drop box bottom metal integrated into it.
Thanks! If there was enough interest I am sure I could finish the cam paths and see how much it would be to get some cranked out on the CNC. Manual milling takes a few hours per piece.
