Just make sure to index it correctly - I would use a rubber mallet to ensure that it's seated all the way against the muzzle. The tolerances for the clamp-on brakes can be kinda sketchy sometimes, but you shouldn't have any issues. I tried the clamp on brakes for a while but never liked them enough to substitute for thread-on brakes.
Your rifle is going to have felt recoil comparable to that of a .243, it's going to be an absolute pleasure to shoot.
