Not necessarily. I have 3 G prefix Savages that were born with centerfeed loading systems. G503350 appears to be the last of the stagger feeds.
Is a model 10 S/A with a G prefix serial number a stagger feed?

Thank you for the info this is a G 902 number.
If you put your serial number into the Savage Parts Finder, you can generally tell whether it's centerfeed or staggerfeed by the schematic.
Also, the staggerfeed magazine is attached to the action and the centerfeed is attached to the stock. When you remove the stock, where's the magazine attached?
Stagger feed - part #5
Center feed - Part number 5

Link to the "savage parts finder"? Google didn't help.
Thanks in advance
https://store.savagearms.com/partfinder
it's kinda hidden on the savage site... customer service... date of manufacture...
Thank you.
Does Savage make HFP or DBM to go into the top drawing 4.2 hole spacing?
