Hornady one Shot. Quick easy and light, so it wipes off easily. That's only with my Redding dies, not with my collet dies though.
What's everbody use for sizing lube? Commercial To homemade let's hear it
Hornady one Shot. Quick easy and light, so it wipes off easily. That's only with my Redding dies, not with my collet dies though.
Lanolin for 223 and imperial for 260.
Imperial sizing wax/lube is simply great for full length sizing. I resisted trying it for many years, suffering through stuck brass in my dies with the Hornady one-shot, and the messiness of the RCBS lube pad, before finally deciding to find out what all the fuss was about with the Imperial. I shoulda never been late to that party.
Home made Isopropyl/lanolin mix for all of my high production stuff.
Imperial for changing neck size or any other drastic changes.

been reloading for 38 years.
1 oz. pure lanolin to 10 oz. heat gas treatment in the red bottle. mixed, best case lube I ever used .
threw the one shot and others in the trash.
Atleast once or twice a year someone will come into my shop wanting a stuck case removed from a sizing die. When I ask what case lube they were using, it's always the same answer....Hornady One shot.
I use imperial with no problems. If you are in a pinch, some of the best case lube is probably right under your nose and you don't know it. If you look hard enough, you could no doubt find some in your ol' ladies purse. it's called........
CHAPSTICK.
"As long as there's lead in the air....there's still hope.."
Mink oil, chapstick, Carmex, and oh yea imperial.lol
I do not use it but my dad reloaded for 20 years using crisco baking grease.
I never saw a stuck case until I used hornady one shot without letting it sit a few minutes, letting it sit 5 minutes cured the problem but the over spay still drove me nuts so I fazed it out. .
Imperial
6CM
Hornady should call it One Stuck.
With Imperial, I've made 308 from 30-06.

1:10 lee lube / rubbing alcohol. Mixed it up in a container, drop your cases in container (i've done up to 250 at a time). Take them out and let 'em dry overnight. Resize. Easy, and fast. Never had a stuck case and been doing it for years.
STP Oil treatment
Started 25+ years ago with the RCBS lube pad because it came with the Rockchucker kit. Messy and slow. I think what I hated most about is was the constant need to remove little bits of crud that would stick to it like flies to fly paper.
I use Imperial for doing a few rounds at a time and converting but prefer sprays for larger quantities.
Nearly got a stuck case the first time I used One Shot because I didn't let it sit long enough. My fault, not the product's. Used the rest of the can plus another as instructed and did not have a problem. If a case gets stuck, blame yourself.
For the last several years I've been using RCBS Case Slick pump spray because that was all I could find locally at the time. Same basic instructions as One Shot. Quick, easy and reliable. I apply on the heavy side but never get dents. Tumbling always follows sizing so greasy residue is of little concern.
When I run into a tight fit I always use Astroglide.
ISO-Heet and liquid Lanolin. 12:1. I'll never go back anything else. Easy, cheap, fast, no stuck cases.
Where do you get the liquid lanolin?

Imperial Sizing Wax.
Huntin1
I have been loading since 1964 and used everything from 30 weight oil to different sprays, I also used STP for awhile . About 5 or 6 years ago I tried Imperial wax and will not change for anything.
I have never had a stuck case in 3 years and I make 260 from 308 using One Shot. I used Lee that came with my reloading kit before that, it was just slow.
If you spray One Shot and let it sit a few minutes it works fine.
