And you don't want to use higher rings either?
Hi guys, finally i got my order from Palmetto... a Bushnell AR Optics 4.5-18. It feels solid and looks good, but my bolt handle touches it..
I don't want to grind the original bolt handle or the scope so i want to change it.
Where can I find replacement handles that are angled more so it doesn't touch the scope?

THANKS

Try Jim at Apache he may have a solution. If you check out his website he has a section on Bolt Handles.
Thanks @ Rosco, I am returning the scope for a refund because the reticle was stuck on the left side, and and when i tried to adjust the elevation, the reticle jumped to the other side... LOL
That knurling on the objective bell is pretty over the top. It's unfortunate that the design of the stock puts the comb too low for higher rings. I imagine even a less crenelated scope would still interfere with the bolt handle mounted if the scope were mounted any lower than that.
I agree, that scope was not designed for a bolt action rifle.

I agree it is designed for AR's, but I was tempted by the $90 price tag so i gave it a try... lesson learned
You'll just have to buy an AR to put it on now..........

Stay away from the Nikon Prostaff, too. You'll have the same trouble.
Look around or do a search here & you'll find certain scopes with larger eyepieces will do that.
Happy scope hunting...
'Scuse me while I whip this out...!
yes, thanks
