Is there a step in front of the edge of the barrel nut?

I bought a savage 111 in 300 win mag. The place did not know what year gun it was bbut said it was almost new condition and it is in a synthetic stock. What shank barrel is it likely to have?

Large shank
SOME, NOT ALL have the step down in the barrel Some of the heavy target barrels do not step down. They all have the shorter nut.

Thank you guys. The gun was shipped today so I should have it by this time next week. I wanted to order my barrel from Mcgowen before their sale ends. It saves you 40 bucks on a barrel.
any chance someone could post a pics of a large and small shank barrel side by side for comparison? Thanks.

Thanks! EXACTLY what I was looking for. Looks like I have a small shank barrel on my Model 12 VLP DBM 22-250 & .223.
