Outstanding
yep, that's dang good shootin'.
Great shooting
Very nice steel...I guess im going to have to stretch mine out a little lol...1175 is my longest with the 260.
Finally got the brake on my .300 Ruger Compact Magnum so did some loading starting with 63 grains of Superformance. Turns out that is the one it likes. There may be another node around 66 grains but I think I can make do with this load. It is only three shots at 100 yards, but it should be ok. Oh, not a Savage either, HS Precision 2000.......P (Yep, P for pistol).

Finally got around to shooting my rifle with the new stock.
These are 6 rapid shots 1 second pause @100 i initially thought it was 5 but i counted it later at home. Range was closing when i pulled this target.
Group came out to .866 the first shot was the lone hole by itself.

Great shooting
These are the absolute best groups this rifle has shot under rapid fire. I do not subscribe to the pause, wait, let it cool, smoke a cig and then fire. If it cant shoot accurately under rapid fire then it cant shoot accurately under deliberate fire. Im finally satisfied with it.
Looks good, shooter. But tell us, that's not a sporter barrel is it? I've determined my 308, 270WSM, 30-06 sporter barrels just won't allow for more than 2-3 shots without letting it cool. There's nothing I can do to change that. Or is there?
Naw. Its a varmint barrel thats .800 at the muzzle. Obviously with a sportster barrel i wouldnt be able to run any rapid shots without it possibly opening up on me. So for those ones i feel its perfectly acceptable to slow down.
My creedmoor is .730 at the muzzle and while its a medium varmint profile i still dont think id shoot it as fast. I have to confirm my dope for it this weekend so i think ill run some 3 and 5 rapid shot groups to see how well it can handle it before it spreads. I have issues with sitting around waiting to shoot i get too anxious so well see how well that goes.
Here are the two rifles
Still cool. Good shooting.
Savage Hog Hunter in .223, 5, 5 shot groups at 100 yards. Ammo was my hand loads (69gr SMK over IMR4320 in Lapua Brass). No tiny groups yet (best was about .4" on another target) but just showing how this rifle is very consistent. I shot 4, 5x5 shot targets and they all 4 were in the .6" average. Not bad for a factory barrel. I've got a X-Caliber on order from Jim at Apache that should do much better, at least I'm hoping.
[QUOTE=Texas Solo;268099]This is from my .223 F/TR rifle at 100 meters. .180" 5 shots varget & Berger 80gr VLD
Very Nice groups, I have the same rifle 223 12 F/tr 7 twist. can you tell me what your powder load is (grains)? that your using Thanks
