I was wondering if savage ever made a blind box magazine stock in the 4.4 screw pattern? I love walnut and would love to trade for one or buy one.

I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.
I am inquiring if they made a classic stock with a blind feed (centerfeed walnut rifle stock. I love the look of them and haven't seen one come up for sale so I was wondering if they ever made one in the first place.

I don't think I have ever seen one either. The original "Classic" was called "Ultra" and was in long action.

Nope, what you seek does not exist. Savage offered the 14W with a Turkish Walnut stock (limited run to use up some short-action large shank push feed "Oops!" actions), but they were all the old staggered feed screw spacing.

Thanks Jim for clearing that up. I wouldn't mind the Turkish walnut stocks for sure but alas it is probably impossible to find one for sale.

I've got one of the Turkish stocks on my muzzleloader - definitely nowhere near as nice as what they're putting on the Classics or the older Ultra's and Safari's as it just has the same pressed checkering as the standard hardwood stocks.

Boyd's sells a walnut stock. Not a Savage, but walnut.
