Welcome aboard
Hello, I like long walks on the beach and getting caught in the... oops, wrong type of post.
I have been shooting pistol competitively now for a couple years (USPSA, IDPA)- just started getting seriously interested in long range within the last 6 months. Started with a Mosin Nagant about a year ago (can't argue a $100 rifle that can consistently hit at 250 yards on iron sights)- then upgraded to my Savage Hog Hunter... and haven't looked back. Absolutely love my rifle (and actually planning to buy my next Savage soon). I am always looking for tips/advise on shooting, upgrades, and any other hints. I know I am still fairly new to the shooting game compared to some- and always appreciate tested wisdom from those more experienced.

Welcome! I'm actually even newer than you (by a few minutes, anyway) but here's a "howdy" back - from one Texan to another!
A big welcome.
Welcome aboard!
