no info on this?
i was looking into an aftermarket stock for my 111, everything i've found so far is for a blind mag, i was told if i disassemble a mag and use the stock as the floor plate and install the body, spring and follower into the new stock it'll effective convert it to a blind mag. is there truth to this, what about the mag release lever at the bottom, anything need to be done with that?
no info on this?
The blind magazine is connected to the action and will require machining slots to accept it and the follower rests on the bottom of the recess in the stock of a blind magazine. The centerfeed magazine is in the stock. And of course your stock is open on the bottom for the magazine. Best bet is to wait awhile and some stock makers will eventually make stocks for your rifle.
Fred Moreo will inlet any of his stocks for any Savage rifle, contact him. SharpShooterSupply who addvertises here on this site.

thanks for the info, that was informative.
If one wanted to couldn't they just get a center feed benchrest follower. Wouldn't this allow you to use a blind mag stock??
Yes it would.
