Dont be afraid to bend and tweak those box lips.
Hi everyone,
I'm having a bit of an issue with my Savage 110 staggered feed. Whenever I get down to the last round, instead of feeding into the chamber, the round springs up and either falls on the ground, or ends up sitting vertically between the front of the bolt and the chamber mouth.
I'm guessing that this may be due to insufficient tension on the lips of the magazine, but thought I'd ask for advice here before I strip it down. Am I correct in my guess, or is there something else wrong? Is this a common problem?
Cheers

It didn't need much! I couldn't get the blind mag off, but all my efforts to remove it seem to have bent the feed lips enough to make it hold the last round again!
Sometimes its better to be lucky than be an expert :)
