As long as both rifles are headspace with the same bolt it will work,I have done the same thing.
Okay here is the deal, I have a build on hold waiting on a bolt head from PTG and a PD shoot booked for the first of October. I would like for the build to play a major role in the outing as it will be in 20 SCC, a 20 VT on steroids so barrel heat will be considerably less than the other guns I will be taking. My question is other than head space, what would be the negative issues with using the bolt from a M11 in 204R and going forward with the build to head space the M11 20 SCC build, I could then use both guns with the same bolt.

Ya'll hang on I'm gonna drive closer
yep, I have done it too. Good to go as long as both headspaced on the bolt you will be using.
I wouldn't do this on a continuous basis but as long as the firing system passes the bump test and you set head space, I'd say carry on and enjoy.
