Nylon's pretty good with some more aggressive solvents like toluene, xylene, and MEK, so it should be fine with body filler. I used epoxy with microballoons on mine, but if you don't already have the filler, it's probably not worth it.
Just got a new axis in 223, I'm not liking the gap around the trigger, could I use black car body filler to fill it up.
