What is your intended purpose for the rifle?
IMHO I would think that the Tacticool would be a little bit more versatile.

BVSS=+$75.oo for pillars and is without a color option.
Tacticool= -$75.oo but needs pillars and has a variety of options including custom LOP, your choice of pad and different color options.
I love the BVSS.......but......I would go for the tacticool (with options) even if it brings the price up square. I recently got a tacticool in pepper for my tikka and really like it.
Depends on the use. Bench/target/varmint gun off the bench - BVSS. Otherwise, tacticool. If you intend on bedding, I personally do not use pillars - but I also use marine tex for bedding compound.
Tacticool only comes in black

Go to Boyds site and pull up the stock in black where it shows the price, then click on custom and it will give you a list of custom options and prices. Hope this helps.
