Mistake #1 You didn't post a picture for up to see.
Hi all! After installing a scope on my first ever rifle, I took her to the range recently. What do you guys think about the groups on the bottom and top right? Shots were fired from 100 yards. The distance between hashmarks is about 2 inches (5 centimeters). Ignore the target in the middle - it was used for scope zeroing.
I'm a total novice when it comes to rifle shooting. Based on these groupings, is my rifle shooting OK? Is the accuracy acceptable, not acceptable, better than acceptable? Am I making any obvious mistakes while shooting? My goal is to progress to shooting medium-long range (400-800 yards) and maybe hunt up to 100-400 yards. What do you folks think?

That's because we don't allow attachments here - you have to host the image on a hosting site such as Photobucket or Flikr and then include the IMG code they give you for that pic in your posts here.
