If you could please post some pictures or perhaps someone else may have seen this before.
Hopefully they will come to the rescue soon
I am installing a Rifle Basix SAV-2 trigger in my Stevens 200 action. I can't get the sear pin hole in the action to line up with the sear pin hole in the trigger housing. I know the instructions say some fitment may be required. How should I make this fit? The trigger housing hole needs to go up and to the rear. Should I enlarge the trigger housing hole, the action hole, or take a bit off the tip if the action housing? I am quite stuck and don't want to mess this up.
Thanks
Bill

Darn, I had the same problem on a Stevens action and I don't remember exactly how I solved the problem. I think I took some off the housing. Getting old bites ! Trigger works great set at 4 oz that much I do know.
From the pictures I would elongate the holes at the front of the trigger. Should not take much effort at all.
I wouldnt do anything but send it back.Just the way the chafer looks,I would say the drilled hole is crooked.
Willing to give back for what the sport has done for me!
Could you explain what looks crooked. It may be the angle of the picture. Everything looks square, but if it is crooked I will definitely send it back.
send it back
Thanks everyone. It is repackaged and going back Monday if the Post Office is open.

The minute you start altering brand new drop in parts they are your forever, and if you sell it someday it could be dangerous on someone elses rifle.I think when the trigger frame was made the drill skewed slightly probably because it was dull or something.

Makes sense. It is going back, hope the replacement fits right.
