I would check that out thoroughly before buying, as rifles without bolts are often stolen. I always keep my bolts separate from my rifles for that very purpose.... harder to pawn or sell.
I found a Savage 110 E, in excellent condition, but it has no bolt, how hard is it to get a bolt for this year of Savage? Serial # E 973***

Good point, I have the entire serial # its posted on line very clearly, but you have a valid point.
Replacement bolt/bolt heads are available if you do decide to buy the rifle. The barrel will most likely have to be head spaced to the new bolt to be safe.
Thanks for your post I am going to pass on the rifle just in case it was stolen in the past.
