hardware store 1/4 inch 28 threads per inch, may need to get longer than needed & trim length to fit.
Hello all new to Savage Arms, I bought a Model 12FVSS 308 26" barrel, blind magazine. Fast forward I ordered a Featherweight Thumbhole stock from Boyds. So I ordered parts from Savage Arms got parts but no screws { forgot to get them } I thought screws from plastic stock would work, Wrong, the front screw is to long & the middle screw is to short, where can I get them SS screws, the right size????? Savage Arms and who else would have them??????? Thanks all this is so I can have a detachable magazine. Ned

^^^^That's what I did. I bought hex-head cap screws. They work.
I thought boyds sold the correct length replacement screws as well.
Willing to give back for what the sport has done for me!
The front screw need's to be 7/8 & middle screw 1 3/4"
Fastenal, Grainger, McMaster-Carr, and quite possibly your local hardware store are all excellent places to source replacement action screws.
