In the 308 I have also shot the PP2000 a bit based on the reported superior velocity vs pressure capability. Don't have a chrono but all the other responses do look good, and you sure can load up the case with it. I wish there were more info on this powder. Several of the reports are contradictory, but in general sounds like it is between RL15 and RL17 burn rate. I want to try it for my new 6.5x47 but I can't find any info at all for that;I also use Quick Load a lot but it is not in the data base yet. Seems strange that it has been out a few years yet so little info for what seems to be a great powder.
Just started. To rain PISSES ME OFF
LOAD 5 more and see what happens .maybe 40.5 this time just to see what m.v. is?
40.5 sucked 1" I cant believe how. .5 would change that much! Time to go up to 41.5 and 42
Last year i did 42 and got 2920 m.v. but did not test for accuracy.
Yes it can. I have used Quick Load to calculate barrel times (BT) for several calibers, bullets, and powders and have found that the OCW accuracy nodes are very close in powder charge to the optimum barrel time (OBT) proposed by Chris Long. In between these charge weights a minor difference in powder has a major effect on point of impact and resulting group sizes; like falling off the proverbial cliff! That is why I want the 2000MR data to run in Quick Load.
Wow interesting results indeed. Keep us posted.
I just bought some 2000MR to try out on some 264 lbc loads.--but I need my barrel to come in first.

Yeah--I've had that one on my list of "to do" powders--but I already have about 6 other powders to try first. This may interest you: http://www.shootingtimes.com/2014/03...grendel-shine/

H- 4350 leaves greyish carbon on crown. 2000MR Leaves black on crown? Dont know if that is a dirty powder ???
41.5 2000MR no hard bolt lift. ( But hard to pull bolt back ) E-swip WARNING. Primer pockets getting loose third × firing.
So i guess i will use 41grs for a backup powder. I have 4 loads for my 6.5 creed.

"hfs", have you ever tried IMR 4350 in your creed? It's the best powder in my 260 Rem.
Any updates
FW, care to share your load for I 4350?
cfe223 and 123 amax are shooting 2720 in my 24" grendel
If that is an accurate node , its probably the fastest 123 a max load I have heard of yet. Are you shooting over 31grns ?
Yes my load is 31.6
