Probably opening a can of works here, but I'm looking for a barrel for a small shank rifle. Caliber will be 6.5-06, prefer to have a 26" length. Mixture of paper punching and hunting up to 5-600 yards. Let's hear what you've got....

26" varmint or heavy magnum. I have a 26" 243 criterion from nss that is a heavy mag contour and it just feels right.
OK, I have bought two barrels from vendors on here.
I bought a gunshack, er shaw barrel a couple of years ago. I have shot it and am very happy I got my moneys worth from it. It must have 3000+ rounds through it. It will still shoot sub MOA to about 1/2MOA groups depending on the day. (Read that to mean the shooters abilities for the day.) I got it for about $160 or so if I remember right.
I just got a criterion barrel today. Nice looking barrel, finish is much better than I remember on the Shaw. I havent shot it, except for pressure testing for load development, so I cant speak to how accurate it is.
I am happy, at this point with both barrels, and would buy either one again.
