Downright Purdy! : )
Just installed a Boyds Prairie Hunter on my savage 111 bbr 7mm mag! What you guys think?? I free floated the barrel and added a limb saver recoil pad.

very nice. I just ordered the same one for my 110.
Looks great! I am trying to sort out what I need to do a swap on my model 11 Trophy Hunter XP, was yours the synthetic stock with the plastic bottom components? If so, were you able to use these in the swap or did you have to order bottom metal to make the change? Hope you can help out, as Boyds site says I need to order bottom metal from Savage and when I called Savage they had no clue what I needed from them...
lankee I'm in the same boat as you and waiting to find bottom metal before I order.
I hear Savage has it on their site.
Welcome to my home.....FYI..... That locked door you kicked down was for your protection.... not mine!!
I just put the same pretty color on my 17 WSM B-Mag.
Lankee, the stock was one piece composite. I had to order the bottom metal from savage. But I ordered the composite version for 14 bucks. It can be used with the plastic bottom clip that comes with the rifle. It all bolted right together and fit perfect
fla9-40, savage has the bottom metal, and a composite version for much cheaper
By the way good call on the limb saver, with a 7mm magnum your going to need it.
Ok perfect thanks for the advice, my 11 has removal composite pieces so I just wanted to make sure that this would work before ordering, thanks again, can't wait to get mine ordered up. Boyd's is one of the only suppliers who will ship to us up here in Canada!
Boyds has great product I've purchased many stocks from them
Nice looking rifle
