Yes
I have a 110 action that was a factory 375 H&H, can I build a 338 edge on it? I'd like it to be a repeating rifle.

The action used for the 375H&H (116FSS most likely) is the same action used for every -06 length and up chambering, only variation is the bolt face between mag/standard....
338LM riffles do have a different action internally, apart from ring size....
edit to add; I wouldnt hesitate to chamber any H&H diameter chambering in that action, any savage 110/10 action
I know it's large shank, and has a longer box mag than the typical long action. I believe they built RUM rifles on that action as well.

If it was originally a .375 H&H, it is a standard shank.

I'm going to have to measure that shank before I order a barrel then. I'm going to check the mag box too to make sure it will hold a 338 Edge.
broncbob, you can be quite sure its a standard shank, just look at the barrel nut is it long(std shank) or short(large shank)
Mag length; if its an H&H chambering then the mag is the correct length as the RUMs are based on that same 91.44mm COAL...
I would dig the rifle out of my safe, but I'm in Canada right now. Just deciding what to build next at the moment.
