.125" to .130" is what I am told for Savage prefits.
Is there a standard spec to use for go gauge protrusion on a prefit? A prefit i had in 6.5x47 measured .130". Just wondering if there was a standard that savage uses or the guys that make prefits use?

Kind of what I thought. I would guess that .130 would be considered max seeing as how most bolt faces fall in the .115-.117 for depth. Does this hold true for all sizes? 223/308/magnum?
As I was instructed by someone who definitely knows, it is that spec for everything.

Everything BUT the 110BA in .338 Lapua. It should be .145-.150".
