Well I never did get around to buying a concentricity gauge. With Christmas coming up I decided to improvise with what I had around the shop.
It really is a pretty simple principle.
I had a dial indicator setup for degreeing cams, a little 3/8 cold rolled flat bar, take apart a bearing to get the balls, drill a few holes and I can measure banana ammo.
I am pretty sure I found the source of my fliers. Out of the 10 remaining rounds I have 3 measured .010 to .013 run-out. The rest were a pretty consistent 3 thou.
