Bought a @ b barrel from midway and gauges $150.00
Bought stevens 200 in 22-250 at gun show, $260.00
Had bushnell 3x9 and weaver 4x4 rings.
Has factory stock, will be replaced when wife decides which one.
Shot 1 box factory 100 grn rem psp , sighting in and breaking in barrel, 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inch at 100 yds.
Reloaded those cases with 100 grn b tips at 3000 fps at muzzle, groups shrank to 3/4 inch at 100 yds.
Shoots great, not overly loud, doesn't pound my shoulder, built it for my wife and have 2 other barrels one for my daughter, one for me, coyote gun.
If you take a look at the reloading manuals, and compare it to the 243, 6mm, and 257 rbrts, it holds its own in all categories pretty well.
Also take a look at bullet selection for the 25's and their sec density and it shines even brighter.
This is a very good round, and is kind of a shame that savage doesn't offer it for the public.
If you build one, you will not be disappointed.
Just my opion.
Good luck
