Only way to get a factory brake is from the factory on a factory barrel. Any competent gunsmith worth a grain of salt should be able to blend a suitable aftermarket brake into the barrel for a smooth, seamless finish.
I bought a cheap stainless 116 in 30-06 and I am looking to convert it to 300 win mag. I am thinking about getting a savage stainless 300 win mag barrel that is factory threaded for a muzzle brake. Is there a source for these muzzle brakes or should I just try to find an aftermarket one? I searched on here but couldn't find anything about where to get the factory muzzle brakes. Only reason I'm interested in factory first is I figured it would match the barrel contour better than an aftermarket one.

And that's the key. Competent gunsmith. There seems to be a shortage of those locally.
