That thing looks huge. I thought I made mine a little on the big side. You should not have any trouble getting a hold of that thing even at -20*F with two sets of gloves.

I made the bolt handle extention from a large roller bearing. Shaped it with a bench grinder. The bolt handle I used a dremmel to get the ball ground down.
That's about it, I pillar bedded it into my new Boyd's thumb hole stock. I'm waiting for my DNZ Gamereaper mount and Nikon Prostaff scope to get here and ill be ready for deer season.

He used goop too. Although his was molten steel.
It's pretty big, but I was working with scrap laying around at work. Keeping cost down. It works though and if I had to I could probably cycle a round with my foot. The goop is just a no run 20 min epoxy that had a good hold strength I don't recall the brand.
That is a beast of a handle! Good work.
