more of it..But a possible source of IMR 4895 is checking..How much difference
do you all think I will find between the two of them? Thanks

'Scuse me while I whip this out...!
I have always found They IMR prefix powders, burn smoother and less harsh or spike, as much as they H designated powders.

RUMs are like woman in Stiletto heals, you know they are going to put you in the poor house, but that has never stopped anyone from pursuing them.
I recently tried AA4350 since finding my usual IMR 4350 is nearly impossible.
In my 30.06, the loads were the same. No difference.
In my 25.06, I had to add another 3/10ths of a grain to get back to the accuracy I was used to.
Its a good thing it worked out the was it did. I bought 16lbs. of the stuff.....

This is a useful link. Remember to back off if you are close to max as you would for any new component of a near max load.

pretty darn close as far as burn rates.
Ive had to do the same. Not with 4895 but other powders.
Ill study the burn rates, load some up, chrono, and adjust.
back off a tad,,,,load em up,, and have at it.

Wish I had a place to get IMR 4895 it is all I use and I am down to last 1/2 lb.
For a 60gr sierra I use 24gr. for 308 150gr. 41.8 grs. for the 135's 43grns. load with caution.
I also use it in 6-7 other calibers so I always buy 8lbs. at a time, haven't seen any in stock since Feb. so grab it if you can.
