Which walnut stock did you order? There have been several times I was going to order a walnut stock for one of my short action Stevens rifles but the long wait to get it turned me off. Impatient I guess.
I have several birch stocks on rimfires and over the years have learned to appreciate how well they work. I never get upset dinging a birch.

Yea I guess it is a museum piece stock because it isn't pillared. If it were pillared it would be a nice stock. I wonder if you could install pillars?
