very nice. what cartridge? i have friends in the garden city area who get some really nice bucks also.
i should visit them i guess.
This is a picture of my first Kansas buck that I harvested in December of 2012 with my first ever Savage build. The rifle is a Savage 11 action with Shilen barrel, timmney trigger, bedded Boyds JR classic stock and Zeiss glass. I love how it shoots which of course put several more builds in the works.

7mm-08 and I love that round. I have 3 different rifles chambered in it but building both a 6.5x55 and 6.5 creedmoor right now as well.
Nice buck, looks pretty big bodied.
Congrats
Very nice. We took a trip to hunt Kansas a couple of years ago. I saw a few nice 8 points but nothing that I wanted to waste my tag on. My friend's dad killed a nice TALL 8 point with my spare 270 on one of the last days. Not sure if we will go back to that area though. Just not enough deer.
Fine buck!
I hunted with Kansas Farmland Outfitters out of Potwin, KS and would recommend them to anyone that wanted a Kansas hunt.
