What did you shoot it with a 22?
I havent seen any yet... ive got some rather graphic pics of what my 22-250 does with vmax and a head shot.....ever see a faceless ground hog?
Got my first groundhog of the year this evening. Anyone else have some 2013 pics yet?

No pics but. I got three so far 267 yds 157 yds and 102 yds. I don't like shooting them that close. But whatnot the hell.
Shot this one at 248 yds with my .260 using 142 gr SMK. Not all that impressive of an exit. The pic shows the entrance, exit was the size of a nickel. I've seen many a headless chucks when I used a .257 Roberts with 75 gr vmax and 85 gr ballistic tips. Just using up the factory ammo that I have for now.
Here's my buddy's 1st one of the year. 300 gr VLD hybrid out of his .338 LM. 200 yards if I remember correctly. Hamburger.
Lol. I want to try the varmint grenades.
Heres mine

Nice! lol
I love it. That's red mist.
Im going to try and pop one with the creedmoor using 140 vld and see what it does. Havent found a willing target yet.
RhinoRK - Where are you from in PA? That looks like a Maryland hog.
Butler Co. PA. Here's #2 with 140 Amax @ 305 yds:
Nice work!
I'm beginning to wonder if there is going to be any groundhogs to hunt @ my folks place here in Michigan. It just keeps RAINING!!!
Finally took the first one with the creedmoor!
Lol 90 yrds with a 140 VLD
Haha, match or target VLD?
The hunting match version
Im pretty certain where all the guts are hanging out is the exit area. Didnt study it very carefully
Nice looking rifle!
Here's my Mother's day fodder:
All sitting around after church having brunch, in our Sunday Go-To-Meeting duds, and the SIL looks out the window and says, "Is that your cat in the garden?"
"No, that's the chubby ******* I've been looking for."
I sprung up from the table, jumped over the wife, and daughter.
Grabbed the Savage and hauled out the door.
By this time, the chubby ******* was getting it across the pasture - straight away from the house. Pausing after every 30-40 yards to see if he was being followed, he'd move again just as I was getting the crosshairs on him.
Finally, he paused a little too long, and I stuck 33 grains in the control room. He went down - no twitching, no death roll, just dropped over dead.
Cheers erupted from the house. (we're easily amused here on the farm)
Paced the distance at a hair over 150 yards, I could still hear the thud when the shot hit money.
Love the plex reticle.
my apologies on the vulgar word edits there, mods. I copied from a forum without filters.
Won't happen again.

I got a big old whistle pig a few days ago with the .45acp when he stupidly walked across the road in front of me.
Seen one today. Parked grabbed the rifle and he was in hiding....next time buddy
