Not sure what the deal was, but when I put a bipod on my groups opened up significantly. Maybe there's a trick to shooting with one that I don't know, but it has since made its way to another toy.

Happy shooting!

With the factory stevens stock a bipod can and often times will make the stock contact the barrel in random places, therefore throwing off your harmonics and making your groups iinconsistent. Also can change depending on what surface the pod is on, grass, concrete, bench, etc. May be remedied if you opened up your barrel channel a good bit so it's less likely to hit the barrel when shooting, but that's a toss up as to whether it will work or not. Have fun, imho the best $250-$300 you can spend these days:)
