6mm BR Norma or 6mm BR Remington ? The Norma has a COAL of 2.441 vs 2.20" for the Remington. That causes there to be quite a load difference between the two.
If so could you please tell me the starting loads and max loads
for the 6mmbr with the berger 95 grain VLD Target bullet..
Using Varget and Reloader 15 powders.....Thanks

For a 95gr, Varget runs 27.0 to 30.3gr (2534 to 2818fps)
RE 15 for a 95gr runs 27.5 to 30.6gr (2586 to 2859 fps)
Both of these listed for 2.441 COAL

A couple of things to note, all of Berger's load data is quickload data AFAIK so the min and max are on the very conservative side. Second if you email them they will typically email you an excel file with load data.
I am pretty sure... I will check my copy tonight.
I emailed and requested load data from them and they emailed me this:
Data for all grains are attached on the excel document. Tabs at the bottom will allow you to select the different grains.
Load data was generated using Quick Load a 24 inch barrel a COAL (cartridge over all length) of 2.800 inches and your COAL and velocity could be a little different.
AS WITH ALL RELOADING APPROACH THE MAXIMUM LOADS WITH CAUTION AS ALL RIFLES AND RELOADING TECHNIQUES WILL BE DIFFERENT. If YOU CHANGE ANY OF YOUR COMPONENTS; THIS INCLUDES DIFFERENT POWDER LOT NUMBERS; YOU MUST REFIGURE YOUR LOADS BY STARTING WITH THE MINIMUM LOAD.
If we can be of any additional help feel free to contact us.
Thanks for your interest and have a great day.

When I received my copy of the manual it matches exactly.
Interesting--very interesting. My Berger first edition says it was a mix of both--it would be nice if they indicated which and where. I believe other manufacturers actually live test fire their bullets, no? I recently called sierra for some 6.5 284 data and they are actually in the process of revising their load manual/software--and the the guy I talked to was live firing for their data, AFAIK.

Match shooters have been shooting Bergers for years, so I am pretty sure they have a long list of reload data from competitors.
I wrote to them several times asking for data for the 6br..Never gat any answers.
So I gave up and ordered the book..Midway sure is so at their shipping...Been about
2 weeks since I ordered it.Yes they said it was in stock...Oh well...
Westcliffe's data is spot on--anything else you wanted?
