Fred had a 26" Douglas 300WM for sale in the classifieds.
I'd a bought it, but money's tight.
Beyond that, 26" 300Wm heavy is a standard trip for any aftermarket barrel maker

thanks for the reply. who would make this barrel? which manufacrurers? and what is the average price?
There are a bunch of manufacturers in the $300 dollar price range. Shillen, McGowen, Douglas SSS, Lothar Walther, just to name a few. All are going to take about 6 months to build. I'm a personal fan of Douglas by SSS. They built me a 308 barrel and is one of the most accurate rifles I've ever seen for the money I paid.Originally Posted by ford97
Keep in mind, you may have to purchase another stock if you're going from a sporter barrel to a varmint contour barrel.
They who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.
Northland Shooting Supply has a Shilen 300WM varmint in stock

(he's away at the SHOT show through 1/25)
Ferret 50 (http://www.ferret50.com/products.html -- look at bottom of linked page) carries Lothar Walther 300WM as one of his standard chamberings. I got one from him a couple years back. Although he didn't have it in stock, I got it in less than a couple months.
