I just took it out of box and looked, The MIL-DOTS aren't to bad but the outside ones are large, Field of view seems small for a 50mm
Can anyone here tell me how "thick" the lines are on this particular Mil-Dot scope? Do you find that the lines are just right, or are they obtrusive? I wish I could look through one, but that's not an option.

Have you had this scope mounted on a rifle? How much does the actual crosshair cover the target?Originally Posted by WAPALOOSE
Haven't had on rifle yet, I will take out tomorrow and see how much at 100 yrd;s on low power.
i have the mil dot same scope. I don't shoot at 100 but I do not find the scope reticule obtrusive. Don't know what size the lines are but I like it for hunting. Field of view seems fine to me as well.

The outside lines are thick, quick reference style but the middle mil dot lines are not obtrusive, I think they are just right. I just tried out my 6x24x50 for the first time and can't be happier. Really good scope for the money. Now all I need to do is figure out which # Butler Creek flip up covers to order for it.
