Recoil is minimal with this rifle in .338 lapua, seems less than my 308 Remington 700. Standing anywhere other than behind the gun is a unpleasant experience. I have taken it to the range a few times as I develop loads and people are crying if they get the bench next to mine. I am shooting 300 grain Bergers and am getting groups of a half inch at 100 or less. Shot a 200 yard group of less than 1" last week.
