Yes it is the same. I have seen some Remington stuff on the shelf at cabelas before but never bothered to buy any as I reload for all my rifles. Reloading is the way to go especially with this rifle in question. I have one just like yours dated 1916 that shoots really well but it took a lot of load tweaking to get there. Your bullet weights with that old gun will top out at 85 grains do to the slow 1:14 twist. Don't try to shoot anything heavier as the results will be far from good. I have found Reloader 17 and the 75 -85 grain bullets pushed as fast as can get them give me the best accuracy. The 75 grain Vmax does the best out of my rifle and will shoot an 1.5" group at 200 yards.
