If you bought it new there is a tool to adjust the spring tension. If you are looking for a target pull you will need to cut a few rings off or buy a target spring. If you can find one....
after taking the rifle out of the stock,there are no adjusting screws anywhere.It does have the blade in the middle of the trigger,but looks nothing like the photos of a model 10 shown eleswhere on this web site. can I send photos of my model 10 to one of you experts...thx to all in ADVANCE....WEll I had luck.I tuned the accu-trigger to 11 oz. trigger pull.I didnt have the Savage tool ,but I made one..HAPPY HOLIDAYS again THX

I bought this used....there are no screws anywhere for adjusting
There are no screws in the accutrigger. The adjustment for pull weight is the return spring, which turns in and out of the trigger, in a threaded hole. The adjust is made with a special tool that looks a lot like a valve core removal tool. In most cases you can turn the spring with your fingers.
