Does anyone make one of these? Am thinking of a laser beam style caliber, using the light for caliber bullets, like the 85 to 110gr TSX's. Maybe up to 130, but am looking to keep something in a 1-11 twist for high velocity. Like a 6.8 SPC in major steroids.
Actually my preference is a 270-08, but not sure which would cost, more to produce.
Thanks for the link. I see his one offering has a 1-9 twist. Faster than I am looking for, but thanks.
McGowen offers the .277 barrels in 1-11, 1-10 or 1-9 twist. I shoot a Model 12 in 270 WSM 1-11 twist and loaded some 110TTSX over some R17 the other day and with 65gr they were at 3680FPS and shot good, I have plenty more room in the case as this load was not very hot.
I have a Krieger and a Hart in 300wsm. I shoot the Barnes 130gTTSX like a laser out of them. I'm getting just short of 3500fps.
Both of them are small shank.

Personally, I would go with a 1-10" twist. It will still shoot 110 TSX well and it will still allow you to shoot 140's. IMO the 140 gr. Accubond is the ideal bullet for the 270 WSM. At 3300 FPS it shoots pretty darn flat and at really long range it will keep going when the light bullets are starting to "fall off the table".

played around a bit with barnes 110 grs in 300 RUM if memory serves I got around 3880 fps is that fast enough
