The one that fits.

Savage is a company that uses what they have on hand, and makes changes without warning, or with out changing part numbers. So what you get or what you need can be a gamble. Savage doesn't make all the parts for the gun, and it is the parts that are farmed out that can be diferent, from manufactor to manufactor.

Savage made slight changes to the trigger guards though out time. The Stagardfeed guns was fairly standard, there was a couple diferent guards depending on what they had availble. When it comes to the centerfeed magazine guns is where most diference are at. Due to the magazine there is a couple of diferent trigger guards, the dual port action guns used a model 40 trigger guards. Most times the trigger guard, can be fit to the stock, with either placing shims under it, ot a bit of grinding.

The best thing you can do is either buy a trigger guard, and see if it fits, if it dont send it back, and try again, or send you trigger guard off to SSS, and have them match it up.
