Do both but don't expect much better accuracy with factory ammo. You might get to 1 inch groups.

Hello again,
I have a 112v in 22-250
In all honesty it has never performed as the gun scribes rave about.
I know the potential is there.
Since this is a single shot rifle would i be better off pillar bedding or glass bedding first?
If it requires both treatments so be it.
It shoots most factory stuff around 1.5" at 100 yards. I know it wants to do better:)
Many thanks

Both at the same time. Just float the tang on a savage.
THank you all. Its a great rifle to shoot but frustrating at its current level of performance. I have owned it for about 25 years. shot it and wasnt happy. Put it away in the safe. now it needs to be thoroughly tested:)
Factory Ammo has changed in 25 yrs.!
