Bolts are mass produced and will vary in almost all dimensions. That is why the bolts are in the rifles when the head space is set. You can swap bolts but you WILL have to chage the headspacing to match.
After doing some pics today (still have to resize). I put the bolt from my .308 HS Precision in my new to me .308 BAS-K, worked fine. Then threw my BAS-K bolt into the HS, would slide in but wouldn't "close"on a round. Any ideas? I wouldn't think the bolts would be different. The HS is pre-accu-wedge while the BAS-K is accu-wedge. If that matters.

I actually should have caught that seeing as how I was able to close the bolt empty but not on a dry cycle. Thanks!
