Nothing special about them, other than the 5-cent NRA medallion.
I'm looking for some info about a stock that I bought. It fits a Savage staggered feed short action. My 308 Stevens 200 drops in, but the front action hole does not line up. The barrel channel looks correct for the Stevens barrel. I really like the stock and it appears fairly straight forward to modify the front hole to fit the center feed action. Before I change anything, I wanted to ask you guys if this is a rare or desirable stock that shouldn't be modified? I'm not new to the shooting sports, but I am new to Savage/Stevens.
