Sounds like your trigger is set to light. They do that on there on as things smooth out.
Adjust your trigger a little and you should be good to go.
Hello all, first post so thought I'd say hi first.
I've got a Model 10 precision carbine in 223 Rem. with about 200 flawless rounds though it until my last range outting. When I work the bolt it does not set the pin in the middle of the back of the bolt (firing pin), as soon as I close the bolt I can watch the pin go forward. Is this a problem with the bolt or with the trigger? any and all help would be greatly appreciated. :) -Todd

Went ahead and adjusted the trigger and seems to be working (dry fireing), will give it a good test at the range soon I hope. Thanks for the help!
What weight is the trigger pull?
"An armed society is a polite society"
"...shall not be infringed" What's the confusion?
Don't have a trigger scale, so not sure but it doesn't feel any different. -Todd
