congrats, thats great shooting. and a Canadian dime is a little smaller then my American dime if i remember correctly... could be wrong. either way, rock on.
Bought a .223 Axis here in Canada in the boxing day sale at Wholesale Sports. Finally got a chance to get it sighted in today. So I figured I'd add one more set of pictures to the pile. For a sub $300 gun this shoots great.
Completely unmodified, I have made no changes to the trigger, or any other component of the rifle. Scope is the factory 3-9x40 that it came with. Remove from box, fill mag, insert, and start sighting in.
High hit was the first shot on paper, wide left was after some adjustment, overcompensated a bit and went wide right next, and then shot a three shot group as I figured I should now be on target.
Results:
100 meters or 109 yards, Bog standard Winchester Whitebox 55gr. Rested in my hand on the rail of my deck. No gun vice/benchrest/range bags.
Picture is a bit deceiving as the target is smaller than it looks.
Thats three shots covered by a dime.
I'm quite pleased with the rifles performance.

Everything I once held dear
I count it all as lost
Nice work...

that's good shooting for a canadian. my wife is a canadian from new brunswick and she says all you canuks are shooters. i love my Edge .223
don
Nice shooting!!
I purchased an Axis in 7mm-08 for deer hunting that like your .223 will put (3) shots coverable with a dime at 100 yds. I like mine so well I purchased another in .223 myself for target shooting and just all around fun. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet but I'm sure it will do just fine.
