Hey everyone,
Just moved out to UT for my first seasonal job for the forest service. Originally from IL, grew up in an anti-gun household. Smuggled my first two firearms into the house (Pair of Savage 1920's) after I moved back home after I graduated university. Moved out to UT with my girlfriend, and found a gunsmith to refinish/reblue my rifles. I know this may be considered sacrilege to do this to such old rifles, but I want them to become heirlooms for my family. Haven't had a chance to shoot either rifle yet, but I did purchase a pair of NAA Guardians in 32NAA and 25NAA. The 32 is a blast to shoot, but haven't found any ammo for the 25 yet.
Overall, my experience with firearms has been limited to pistol shooting and reading PO Ackley/Townsend Whelen, and other various reloading manuals.

Future firearms may be anything from a Henry Original to a New Savage 110 Classic or a NAA Ranger ii.

Best wishes to all :)
