I ordered a Shilen 6 BR Norma barrel from NSS back in December and it finally arrived on my front porch yesterday. Lead time was 10-16 weeks and it took every bit of that.

The barrel is 26 inches long with a 12 twist and 1 inch bull contour. I plan to shoot 60-70 grain bullets at 100-300 yds and had it throated to a dummy round using the 68 grain Berger FBHP. This morning, I got out the Hornady gauge and made some cartridge base to ogive measurements on the Berger, the SMK 70 grain HPBT, and the Sierra 60 grain HP. All three bullets will sit with the base near the shoulder/neck junction so that worked out well.

For starters, I plan to develop loads using IMR4895 and will also try some H322 with the 60 grain Sierra.

Now I just have to wait until the State of Indiana opens up the FWA shooting ranges again. All dressed up and nowhere to go.
