I’m shooting a 6BRA right now on a rebarreled Savage 112 J series single shot. 107smk are coming out just under 2900fps and that’s out of a 26” barrel. You just shoot normal 6BR loads thru it and no difference in accuracy vs. the formed 6BRA case.

So why did you choose the BRA variant of the BR? Since you mentioned the short neck in the Dasher I would assume that to be the reason? I was browsing over the 1000 and 600 bench rest results boards from this year and did not see a huge trend in one over the other.

If going to 1000yd would you use the 6mm or go up to something else? Last (maybe ), is the barrel life the same with all the 6BR variants?
