This weekend, I upgraded the factory plastic stocks on my 111-270 and 11-223 with Boyds Laminate. I also added pillars to both.
A bit more weight, but rather negligible. These are both hunting rifles, the 270 deer, the 223 coyote.
(The 223 scope is further back than I want it... but with minimal recoil hasn't become a priority to re-position forward)
