Just bought a new 10FLCP 308 and am having some issues with it. Using new Nosler 308 brass with 168gr SMK have found the rifle will not take anything more than about 2.65" (was trying for the standard 2.8 COAL recipes listed in my manual and online). Anything higher winds up with the bolt jamming before it fully closes.

Was thinking of trying to break the gun in first with some manufactured ammo at 2.6" (.308 Win soft point) and seeing it the rifle will take 2.7-2.8" reload recipe afterwards. If not, what are my options? Would a gunsmith be able to fix this or do I have to take this up with Savage?
